Piwik is a web analytics solution that comes with features we always seek in a solution – namely free and open source. They claim to be an an open source alternative to Google Analytics, and offer webmasters and web marketers an in-house alternative for websites that would rather not (or legally can’t) send their data to external analytics resources.
